Diethanolisopropanolamine (DEIPA) is an alkanol amine used in the formulation of cement additives and concrete admixtures. Besides being a good grinding aid in the cement mill, DEIPA increases the strength of cements at all hydration ages, and cements blended with fly ash and slag tend to show a greater response to the chemical.
According to the research, their effects on cement properties is better than the ordinary cement grinding aids as TEA & TIPA, the cement compressive strength in all ages were improved when DEIPA was added to cements. The effect of DEIPA and TIPA were similar on cement properties including normal consistency, setting time, fineness and fluidity, etc. DEIPA is excellent cement grinding aids.
This product can be used alone or in combination with triethanolamine, triisopropanolamine and other alcohols, amines and esters. The recommended dosage is 0.005~0.015% of cement. The actual dosage is recommended to be determined by the customer according to the specific situation.
