Calcium Ligno Sulfonate is a complex polymer derived from trees in the pulp industry. The wood from trees is mostly composed of 3 components, cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin. The lignins are sulfonated so they become water-soluble and can be separated from the insoluble cellulose. The soluble lignin is called lignosulfonate.
Application
Concrete Admixture
Calcium ligno sulfonate can be used as water reducer in concrete, the water reducing rate is 8-9%. And it also can be used as retarder, early strength agent, air entraining agent, pumping aid agent and so on. If you want to used in cement, also can be cement grinding agent.
Dust Suppressant
Lignin is derived from lignin, a naturally occurring polymer found in wood that acts like glue holding the cellulose fibers of pulp together.Lignin work by binding the road surface particles together. Water evaporates from the lignosulfonate as it dries, and the dust particles are trapped by the high-viscosity, naturally sticky material.
Ceramic and Refractory Additive
Used for fireproofing materials and ceramic body reinforcing agent.In the manufacturing process of large size tiles and refractory brick, it make the blank body raw material particles bonded together firmly, and increased the dry strength more than 20%-60%.
Animal Feed Additive
Pelleting Aids: For better pellet quality and more throught
For pig feed: Bacterial inhibition with reduced corrosion
For piglet feed: Good digestibility and strong antibacterial effect
For wet feeding: Strong effect on yeasts and moulds
For drinking water systems: Effective control of pH with less corrosion
Textile and Dye Additive
Mainly used for vat dye dyeing, reactive dye dyeing and acid dye dyeing. It can work as dispersant and leveling agent for acid staining pad and pigment pad dyeing; auxiliary for reducing dye powder and slurry. It can also be used in leveling agent in dyeing industry.
