Silicone water repellent is a new type of non-corrosive, colorless and transparent exterior wall waterproofing agent, mostly used for waterproofing and protection of exterior walls and other base surfaces that do not bear water pressure. It is used for waterproofing, anti-seepage, anti-fouling, color retention, and anti-weathering of brick veneer exterior walls and coatings, and natural stone veneer exterior walls. It does not change the original color of the base surface and has low construction costs.

Usage & Precautions:

Silicone water repellent is in dry powder form and can be mixed with other dry powder materials in a mixing device to produce various dry mortar products. Avoid long-term stirring under high shear force to prevent the temperature of the powder from rising. Usually, in a container filled with water, the dry mortar product containing silicone is slowly added while stirring, but avoid too strong stirring to prevent the introduction of air. In the state of pre-mixing with water, water can be added to stir and dilute before use. The newly mixed material needs to be left to stand for 1 to 5 minutes before use, depending on the condition of other additives. The amount of silicone water agent added is generally 0.16%-0.3% of the dry powder dosage, depending on the waterproofing requirements of the substrate.
