Chemical Expression	Trisodium citrate dihydrate, also known as sodium citrate and trisodium citrate, has the molecular formula Na3C6H5O7·2H2O and a molecular weight of 294.1. Trisodium citrate dihydrate is a colorless crystal or white crystalline powder product, odorless, salty, and cool. Trisodium citrate dihydrate loses crystal water at 150ºC and decomposes at higher temperatures. Trisodium citrate dihydrate is slightly deliquescent in humid air and weatherable in hot air. Trisodium citrate dihydrate is easily soluble in water and glycerin, insoluble in ethanol, and insoluble in alcohols and other organic solvents. Trisodium citrate dihydrate is non-toxic, has pH adjustment properties and good stability.
