Calcium Formate is an odourless, free-flowing white crystalline solid.
It is a convenient source of calcium and formate ions for aqueous solutions.

Calcium formate is the calcium salt. It is also known as E238. Under this E number it is used as an animal feed preservative within EU, but not in foods intended for people.

Accelerator for concrete, cement based dry mix mortars, repair mortar, waterproof mortar, tile adhesive.
