Physical and chemical properties of microsilica powder
1. Microsilica powder:
Appearance is gray or grayish white powder, refractoriness>1600ºC. Bulk density: 200-250 kg/m3.

2. Fineness of microsilica powder:
More than 80% of microsilica powder has a fineness of less than 1μm, the average particle size is 0.1-0.3μm, and the specific surface area is: 20-28m2/g. Its fineness and specific surface area are about 80-100 times that of cement and 50-70 times that of fly ash.
3. Particle morphology and mineral phase structure:
During the formation process, microsilica powder is affected by surface tension during the phase change process, forming non-crystalline amorphous spherical particles with a relatively smooth surface, and some are agglomerates of multiple spherical particles stuck together. It is a volcanic ash material with a large specific surface area and high activity. The tiny spheres of materials mixed with microsilica powder can play a lubricating role.
